Info Salons China Celebrates its 4th Anniversary

OTP Technology --- Info Salons China Applied New Technology on Data Security

As We all know, the security of client’s database, especially the visitor database, is of the utmost concern for a registration company. Due to the adoption of the One Time Password token (OTP)， Info Salons China now can ensure that all client data is kept as securely as people like to keep their financial records.

With the adoption of OTP, access to client databases managed by Info Salons requires the entry of a user name, password and now the entry of a unique number generated by the token. An algorithm is used to generate a number which is specific to the date and time. The company’s software understands this, so access is only permitted if the number from the token matches the number calculated by software on Info Salons’ servers, and only limited to the database to which the user should have access. Info Salons China believes that its implementation of OTP tokens may be the first in the exhibitions industry. It remains highly unusual in any business sector outside the world of financial services.

HKECIA Membership Announcement

We are proud to announce now that Info Salons China (ISC) has been accepted as an Overseas Member of Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Industry Association (HKECIA), and we have been present in its 2008 Annual General Meeting held on May 30th.

HKECIA started out as the Hong Kong Exhibition Organisers Association which was founded in May 1990. With the unified voice of the industry, HKECIA act as an advisory body to its members and by working closely with all relevant organizations, promote the well-being and good standing of the industry and promote Hong Kong as the major international exhibition and convention capital in the region and the world.

New Offices Opening in Hong Kong & Macau

Info Salons™ is opening two new offices, which are based in Hong Kong and Macau.

Info Salons™ already has offices in Shanghai and Beijing. Together with the two new offices, we now have got 4 offices in China in all.

The new offices are opening on the demand of the growing and promising market, which will surely bring the local clients great convenience and Info Salons™ much more opportunities. As we all know, Hong Kong has got a reputation of Capital of Events in Asia, and it is becoming an International Capital of Events. The opening of Hong Kong office will hopefully play a significant role in Info Salons’ further growing. Just as Mr. Gu Xuebin, the Managing Director of Info Salons™ China, put it, “the tow offices, especially Hong Kong office, will increase Info Salons’ international presence and continue to best serve our clients.”
